October is shaping up to be a busy month for us at English Farmstead Cheese! We’ll be attending a number of local events and are also planning additional store hours at the farm.
Our first event of the month will be this Saturday, October 5th, at Williams-Sonoma in Asheville. Williams-Sonoma, known for their gourmet foods and professional-quality cookware, hosts a monthly market to bring artisanal producers to its stores. This is our first trip to the market, and we are excited to be offering our cheese there from 12:00-4:00. See below for a map of the Asheville store’s location.
Saturday, October 12th, we will have our cheese at the 30th Annual Mountain Glory Festival in Marion. The festival starts at 9:30 and lasts until 5:00. There will be over 125 vendors with local crafts and food. Local musical talent will also be showcased.
The last Saturday of the month, October 26th, you can find us at South Creek Winery in Nebo. This will be their last outdoor music event of the season, featuring international recording artist Lee Lindsey on the vineyard deck. Stop by to relax and enjoy some great music, wine and cheese! The tasting room will open at 11:00 that morning, with music starting at 1:00.
Besides these events, we are also expanding our store hours at the farm. In addition to our regular Friday-Saturday hours, for the month of October we will be open from 2:00-5:00 on Sundays. Please note that the calendar on our website has been updated with all of our events, as well as the additional store hours.
As always, we’ll be open Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00-6:00, so stop by and see us to get your cheese fix! Please also remember that you can follow our blog or find us on Facebook and Twitter for more info.
